Winemakers by vocation
Casa Vinicola Pesaresi is a farm established in 1964 by brothers Adrio and Arnaldo Pesaresi in Varano, a small hamlet of Ancona, on the slopes of Monte Conero.
Today, the winery is run by Giovanni and Federico, who believe in the potential for excellence of their wine-growing terroir, following a simple approach: observe, observe to gain insight, and then trust. The vineyard on the Trave plateau is the result of their approach as winemakers by vocation, with the aim of bottling their passion for the vine and the vitality that their terroir expresses.
Vineyards
The characteristic staircase, entirely made of manually laid wood, allows Giovanni and Federico to access the main body from the vinery to the vineyard, which mostly includes rows of Montepulciano vines and rows of Trebbiano, Malvasia, Verdicchio grapevines and a consistent sequence of rows of Sauvignon blanc.

Vinery
The Varano and Trave vineyards share a single characteristic: the grape yield per vine is well below the levels specified in the Rosso Conero DOC production regulations, meaning that the winery is still operating at its initial capacity in terms of space. Gradually, as the majority of the wine is aged in barriques, plans are emerging to expand the facility. Great attention is paid to the ageing of the wine in the bottle prior to its distribution.
